Margaret Markov, an American actress, was holdin’ it down on the big and small screen. She had a solid role in The Sterile Cuckoo (1969) with Liza Minnelli and rocked a co-star spot in There is No 13 (1974), plus other flicks.

She popped off in the 1969 biker joint Run, Angel, Run, directed by Jack Starrett, and the 1972 women-in-prison flick The Hot Box, co-written by Jonathan Demme. She also lit up the dark comedy/murder mystery Pretty Maids All in a Row (1971) with Rock Hudson, directed by Roger Vadim. Markov held it down with Pam Grier in Black Mama, White Mama (1972) and The Arena (aka Naked Warriors, 1974). While makin’ the latter, she linked up with producer Mark Damon, later married him, and then dipped from the scene.
