Meet Elke Winkens, born March 25, 1970, in Linnich, an Austrian-German actress with mad skills. Grew up in the Netherlands, bouncin’ around Ratheim in Hückelhoven, and even lived in Belgium and Africa ‘cause of her dad’s gig. She was gettin’ it at six with ballet and flexin’ on stage by nine. Girl was killin’ it in dance and theater, plus she was a pro gymnast from ’78 to ’86, snaggin’ titles in floor exercise.

At 18, she scored a scholarship to the London Studio Center School (’89-’91), then jetted to Vienna for the Musical School at Theater Vienna, studyin’ song, dance, and actin’. She joined the cabaret crew Die Hektiker, where she started turnin’ heads in the media. Landed her first TV role in Cell-O-Fun (’96-’97), followed by One in ’98. In 2002, she popped off as Niki Herzog in the crime series Kommisar Rex.

In ’03, she brought the heat posin’ for the German Playboy. Then, in ’08, she hit the dance floor on Dancing Stars on ORF, makin’ it one week shy of the finale.
