Idea for doms. You know how when your dog does something you tell them you give them a little treat as a reward so you can train them? What if you got something like jerky or something like that to give your sub when they do something good?
It's okay to want a hug or to rest in a lap. It doesn't make you less dominant to need comfort. It's okay to need a shoulder to cry on. I hope you're doing okay and if not we can change that :)
