Meet Hina Rabbani Khar (born November 19, 1977), a Pakistani political boss who held it down as the 21st Foreign Minister of Pakistan from February 2011 to March 2013. At just 33, she was the youngest and the first woman to rock that role.

Hailing from a big-deal feudal family in Multan, she studied business at LUMS and Amherst before jumpin’ into politics. She started in 2002 as a National Assembly member with PML-Q, servin’ as a junior minister for economic policy under PM Shaukat Aziz. In 2009, after switchin’ to the Pakistan Peoples Party and winnin’ re-election, she became Minister of State for Finance and Economic Affairs, droppin’ the national budget as the first woman to do so. PM Yousaf Raza Gillani tapped her as Foreign Minister in July 2011, and she held it down ‘til just before the 2013 election when she stepped back from the game. She’s still ridin’ with the PPP, hittin’ up public speaking gigs on foreign policy, and pushin’ hard for tighter vibes with India.
