I've gained 20 lb in the last year. It's not sustainable to rely on your "conventionally attractive" parts for confidence bc our bodies change constantly. It's a lesson I keep relearning.
So even though I lost a ton of weight (90+ lbs), I still have some issues to resolve in regards to how I feel about how I look. Trying to forget I am turning 60 soon.
It took me until my 50s to stop being self-conscious about my slender body and skinny arms. Exercising more helped a bit but it was mostly in my head. My advice - love yourself now! (The sign was for a Twitter pro-nudity campaign)
