Carpal tunnel release incision got infected the day before my follow-up and suture removal. Managed to release some pressure. Cleaned up and surgeon contacted for antibiotics. NSFW due to bloody discharge and sutures/incision.
Haven’t been able to get into a podiatrist. There’s a huge wait list. Although not advised, I dug out a shard of my nail on my own. I got extremely hot, sweaty, and nauseous, but I got it out. At least some of it. And I feel so much relief. Sorry, no
